Defective product

Defective product — bar spins endlessly even with locks open as instructed. Doesn't extend at all. Instructions were also vague and barely useful. Total waste of time and money.

Solid, secure, easy to install

Day one of use, so I can only speak to installation and first impressions.I'm more impressed than I expected to be. The instructions are printed in tiny form and somewhat confusingly laid out, but were easy to follow once I figured out the order. It took me maybe 10minutes once I'd unpacked everything to have the device ready for use.I have it mounted between parallel walls (aligned with studs) and so far it is very secure. I've used it several times today and haven't noticed any change in stability of the unit.The foam grips and very comfortable. I'd like the option to have them slightly further apart, but it is entirely usable as is. I'm very happy with the purchase and would recommend, especially at this price.

This is a bad pull-up bar. We've used a few now and this is by far the worst. Falls off way too easily and it just isn't safe. I'll be buying a better, more expensive bar next time.
