Just what I needed

I bought this hoping that I would be able to use it with my 1" bar that I use for strength training at home. I measured my bar diameter to make sure that this would fit and even though my bar is 1" it was hole in the weights was just barely too small and wouldn't go on the bar. Measure you're bar and make sure you have some wiggle room before you buy this product.I am disappointed they don't fit because I do think they were good value for the price if they had fit.
They don't last, and they can't do anything besides simple movements. We used these for a little under 2 years, with maybe half of that time using them barely at all. After one workout we noticed that on our floor was a lot of black sandy looking charcoal and sure enough, one of the plates was broken and leaking everywhere. Upon further inspection on the other three plates we had (all the same, 20 pound plates), they were showing cracks and wear and tear and had to be retired. They're cheap and they get the job done, but unless you're in a humid gym where they won't crack or dry out, and you only do basic movements, they're going to break and make a mess everywhere.
