The product is not the proper size. Meaning you will be stuck with weights that are incompatible to standard sizes. It's cheap, and really more of a decoration after using it for a week or two.

I did not unbox the product for few months after purchase, but when I finally did there was a major dissapointment waiting. Of the 4 nuts that hold the plates together, 1 does not fit the size of the rod. Without the nut, one of the pair of dumbells was unusable. It was too late for me to return the product unfortunately.
